Acrylic resin and Polymer emulsions.
Polymer science - for your success.
A petrochemical, methyl-methacrylate, or MMA, which is combined with methanol to produce Acrylic resins. The mixture undergoes
hydrolysis, and then is distilled to a clear, water-like liquid that is 99.9% pure. Subsequently purification process is carried
out to obtain Acrylic resin.
Polymer emulsions are made by polymerisation of monomers such as vinyl acetate, acrylic ester, styrene and ethylene in solution of surfactant or water soluble polymeric substances. These processes follow the typical polymerisation manufacturing flow cycle as: - Batch reactor for polymerisation reaction with heating and cooling system. - Recovery of unconverted monomer after the completion of reaction. - Purification of product in number of steps. |
