Alkyd and Polyester resin plants. Complete solution to match your product. Etherisation process is used for the production of Alkyd and Polyester resins, which is mainly a condensation polymerisation reaction. For Alkyd resin manufacturing, fatty acids or oil and phathalic acid anhydride are used where as polyester resins are based on aromatic or saturated carboxylic acids.

Raw materials are dosed via mass flow meters or weighing vessels into a half pipe coiled reactor. Heating is done by hot oil, circulated in half pipe at 300 °C and reaction water is continuously taken out from the reactor during the reaction. Integrated dephlegmator column is used for separation of vapour and water phase.
